Notes on the graphic:
J. Herbert McNair, was the Brother-in-law of CRM-MMM, and the husband of Frances, making up the group of Four.
This design was used by Herbert on a poster for the Liverpool Academy of Arts in 1901.

Notes on the Cats:
The cats and nimbus are part of a frieze that CRM stencilled or painted on his bedroom wall sometime between 1890 and1896, then aged 21 to 27.
There is only one piece of photographic evidence for this, and the date cannot be narrowed further. ( I'm working on it.)
The frieze was later reproduced on the playroom wall of 'Gladsmuir', the home of William Davidson, when CRM designed the interior in 1896.
Although these cats represent Frankie and Johnnie, it is reputed that CRM-MMM also had two cats, whose names were Lancelot and Guinevere.

Lady Amalgam.

Since I have little luck with dating these days, I have made another Lady for myself. This Lady is an amalgam of two CRM designs that can be seen here and here.

One hand spins electronic wire, while the other spins electronic oil.
And indeed, my glass is half full. Yum, yum slurp.
There, now it's empty. Time for another.

Now Lost.

This is my impression of a leaded glass design which was displayed above the fireplace just in front of the inverted teardrop mirror, in the Room de Luxe of the Willow Tearooms, Sauchiehall St. Glasgow, Scotland, shortly after it opened in 1903.
The size I believe, was approx 24 inches tall and 18 inches wide. It was last displayed at the Memorial Exhibition held in the McLellan Galleries Glasgow, on 3rd May 1933, just months after the death of Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh.
I don't have any further information on the piece. It is now lost.
